The Festival has a family of over 100 volunteers who assist with auditions, plan events and enrichment programs, assist the Artistic Director, host artists, assist the coordinators of the piano competition and conducting master class, plan receptions, usher, perform computer work, sell ads, solicit groups to attend performances, and much more. If you would like to get involved as a volunteer for The Festival, please write to [email protected].
The Princeton Festival provides homestays for its artists and production staff in private homes throughout the greater Princeton area, including Bucks County within a 40 minute drive to Princeton, for the duration of their time with us. The artists appreciate the relaxed comfort of this arrangement and our housing hosts often say they derive unexpected benefits and pleasure from getting to know these artists in a way certainly not possible by just attending a performance.
If you might consider welcoming a guest into your home for a few days or for several weeks, please contact [email protected] for more information.
Princeton Festival Guild
Volunteering with The Princeton Festival does not require joining the Princeton Festival Guild, but Guild members enjoy special benefits such as early access to tickets, invitations to dress rehearsals, and special reserved seating for selected performances. And on top of that, there’s the fun and camaraderie of working with an organized group of like-minded patrons of the performing arts, too!
The Guild’s activities range from creating education and enrichment programs to providing cast hospitality to planning travel and social events for its members. For more information, please check out the Guild webpage or email [email protected].
