BUY TICKETS

Don’t Get Scalped!

Be sure you’re getting valid tickets for the best available seats at a fair price. Buy them from the McCarter Theatre Ticket Office, our official vendor. Neither The Princeton Festival nor McCarter can help you with issues such as missing tickets or ticket donations if you buy through a reseller or broker, nor will any Princeton Festival discounts apply.

Special Pricing

For 2018, these special pricing packages are available for families, groups and students:

  • Family Package for Madama Butterfly Purchase of 1 adult ticket for $45, $55, $75 or $95 allows purchase of up to 2 tickets at $15 each for students under 18 accompanying the adult. Orders must be placed by contacting the McCarter Theatre Ticket Office by phone or in person at the box office.
  • Discovery Trio – Enjoy a 15% discount when you purchase tickets to three or more different events on one order. (Please note that different performances of the same event do not qualify as “different events.”) Once the Discovery Trio criteria have been met, all tickets on that order will receive the 15% discount. For online orders, look for the discount prompt after you place the first item in your cart.
  • Group Discount – Purchases of 10 or more tickets for the same performance will receive a 20% discount automatically, whether online, by phone, or in person. All tickets must be purchased at the same time.
  • Student Rush: Musical – Students with valid student ID may purchase half-price Student Rush tickets at the musical’s onsite box office beginning one hour prior to each performance, subject to availability.
  • Student Rush: Opera – Students with valid student ID may purchase half-price Student Rush tickets at the McCarter Theatre Ticket Office on the day of the performance, subject to availability.
  • Student Tickets – $15 student tickets are available for purchase online (plus a $1.50 handling fee) or in person at the box office for all ticketed events except the musical and the opera (see above). Enter the code STUTIX on the first page of the ticketing website when ordering online. Seats will be selected from among the $45 level for The Peter & Will Anderson Quintet; other events are general admission. Purchasers must show a valid student ID when picking up their tickets.

Tickets cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded, but unused tickets may be donated back to the Festival as a tax-deductible contribution up to the day before an event. You must contact the McCarter Ticket Office at 609.258.2787 by the end of their office hours on the day prior to the event.
