International Piano Competition Finals

Watch young artists from around the world display extraordinary talent and musicianship in our virtual competition!

 

What is the format for this event?

In this two-hour video concert you’ll enjoy amazing performances by the three most impressive pianists in each of our seven categories (see below), as selected by our expert adjudicators. Choose your favorites if you wish – it won’t be easy – then listen as Gregory Geehern, the Princeton Festival’s Acting Artistic Director, announces the ultimate official winners.

The event is streamed via our website, accessible only to ticket buyers. Each ticket buyer will receive an email containing a link upon completion of their purchase.

 

Who are the pianists?

Contestants in this year’s competition are ages 6 and above and hail from across the United States and around the world.

 

Prizes & Awards

Student Awards
  • Elementary Artists (ages 6-9): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $100
  • Intermediate Artists (ages 10-12): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $150
  • Junior Artists (ages 13-15): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $200
  • Senior Artists (ages 16-18): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $500
  • Piano Four-Hands (25 and under): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $200 per artist
  • Emerging Open Class (25 and under): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $1,000
  • Experienced Open Class (26 and over): Electronic certificate and cash prize of $1,000
Special Award

The Richard L. Tang Yuk Award will be presented to one participant for an outstanding performance, independent of the class in which they competed.
