2021 Ticketing Information

Ticketing Policies

As our world gradually returns to normal, The Princeton Festival is pleased to offer live, in-person performances for the first time in nearly a year. Our ticket policies for these in-person performances focus on maintaining the health and safety of our musicians, staff, and patrons like you. If you are comfortable joining us at Morven this season, please keep the following protocols in mind while you plan your visit.

The Princeton Festival communicates regularly with our venue partner to ensure our full understanding of and compliance with their COVID-19 policies. This season, these policies will include:

Take your own health status into consideration before you arrive. If you have a fever, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19, we will miss seeing you. Please stay home and enjoy the livestream (link included in your confirmation email).

Help safety screenings and contactless check-in flow more efficiently. We recommend bringing minimal personal items, using clear bags, and showing tickets for entry from your smartphone to reduce contact with others.

Don’t forget your mask! Patrons must remain masked in common areas (including walkways and restrooms) at all times. They must also remain masked within their assigned pod area except when eating or drinking. Masks should cover the nose and mouth fully.

Follow social distancing guidelines. Maintain a six-foot distance from fellow patrons in common areas, avoid gathering in groups, and stay within the boundaries of your assigned pod.

Understand your risks. Even as more people become vaccinated against COVID-19, newer variants of the virus bring continued dangers and hazards. By purchasing your ticket and attending in-person, you acknowledge that your participation may result in possible exposure to and illness from COVID-19, and that neither The Princeton Festival nor Morven Museum and Garden assume any responsibility for this illness.

Here’s what you can expect as part of your patron experience for The Princeton Festival’s specific in-person performances:

If you purchase a ticket for an in-person event, you will need to either print your order confirmation and bring it with you to the event, or you can just display your order confirmation email to the volunteers at the event space and they will check your name off of the registration list. (Displaying your confirmation email is preferred to reduce contact with others.)

Purchasing a ticket gives you access to one of the marked, socially distanced pods measuring 8 feet by 8 feet. These pods hold space for up to two adult patrons and two children from the same household. You will be assigned a pod upon entry, and volunteers will carefully lead you to your chosen pod.

Seating will not be provided, so remember to bring lawn chairs, folding chairs, or blankets for your seating.

In-person performances will take place rain or shine. If severe weather is expected, The Princeton Festival staff may hold the performance for a rain delay. If conditions are too dangerous, staff may cancel the in-person attendance portion and point you toward the livestream link you received to enjoy the performance from the comfort and safety of your home.

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are not refundable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. In select cases, such as inclement weather or exposure to COVID-19, we are able to exchange your in-person performance for the livestream of the performance at an amount equivalent to your in-person ticket purchase. You may also choose to convert your ticket purchase into a donation toward The Princeton Festival.
