You may remember Elbert Gong from our 2010 piano competition where he received The Richard L. Tang Yuk Award for Most Outstanding Performance as only a middle schooler. Five years and many awards later, you can hear him perform this Monday May 18th at 6:30pm in his senior recital at The Lawrenceville School. The concert in the Clark Music Building is free and open to the public –

Elbert performed on NPR’s “From the Top” with Christopher Reilly in 2013, won a 2015 National Arts Foundation Award this year, and has been a Juilliard Pre-College student under the tutelage of Julian Martin since 2008.
